Release "v2.0.0" – What's new?
Our attempt at "compiling for Linux" was short-lived – the packages shipping the Python compilations were too large in the long term and increased in size with every release. Therefore, the .rpm and .deb packages once again install the Linuxfabrik monitoring plugins in source code. This means that Python 3.9+ must be installed on Linux.
The MSI package for Windows was also too large. Therefore, we now only provide plugins that perform local checks on Windows machines, such as disk-usage
or similar. Everything else can be checked from Linux machines.
